Pakistan vs WestIndies 2nd Test

The second Test match between Pakistan and the West Indies commenced today, January 25, 2025, at the Multan Cricket Stadium. West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first. By lunch on Day 1, they were struggling at 163 all out in 41.1 overs.

Pakistan's bowlers dominated the session, with left-arm spinner Noman Ali achieving remarkable figures, including a hat-trick, contributing significantly to the West Indies' collapse. Noman concluded the innings with six wickets.

For the West Indies, lower-order resistance came from bowlers Gudakesh Motie, Jomel Warrican, and Kemar Roach, who helped lift the team's total from a precarious 54 for 8 to 163.

Notably, this match marks the Test debut of Pakistan's right-arm medium bowler, Kashif Ali, who earned his first international wicket by dismissing West Indies batter Mikyle Louis.

As the game progresses, Pakistan will aim to capitalize on their strong bowling performance, while the West Indies will look to their bowlers to make early inroads and keep the contest competitive.
